Paige Mason

Paige Mason is a Central Valley-based freelance illustrator/artist who has had the pleasure to call San Jose, CA “home” for six years where her art career really took flight! She is currently living back in her hometown of Fresno where she welcomed her third son, and continues to make and teach art for Aspen Meadow Elementary School. Paige has been extremely fortunate to still participate within the San Jose art community through Local Color, Nirvana soul Cafe, and SJMade. She is hoping to water her roots and grow back into the Fresno art scene by teaching art in the community and sharing her illustrations through Fresno's Art Hop and local artist calls. When looking at Paige’s art, the viewer will be entranced by original characters who tell a story through just single framed illustrations. Her art stems from joy, whimsy, and the imagination of kids!

Statement

Storytelling, adolescence, and imagination is what can be found in my work; simple drawings that children gravitate towards, but also illustrations that evoke a sense of nostalgia for adults both old and young. Think of my selected art pieces as "mom and dad's" refrigerator, in that you will see a variety of pieces that I have selected, or that "mom and dad" have chosen, and deemed worthy to be "put up on the fridge." - Paige
